Suspended sentence for drug offence An Albanian national was sentenced on Tuesday to six months in prison for a drug offence. The sentence is suspended. The man was caught growing cannabis in a house in Reykhólahreppur. Police found 260 cannabis plants when they searched the property. The man pleaded guilty. He was arrested on 10 August and was held on remand from 11 August until the sentence was handed down.
